Launching at the Spotted Mallard on Saturday evening, 26th January is "Everyday I Write The Hook...Victor Stranges Plays The Elvis Costello Songbook."

The performance is not a costume changing tribute show, rather an affirmation of Stranges' love for the songs of Costello. The solo acoustic show draws from Costello's first twenty years of making records, from My Aim Is True (1977) to All This Useless Beauty (1996). The songs are stripped back, revealing their subtlety, glorious structures and remaining faithful to the original album arrangements.

Also appearing are Melbourne recording artists, Zac Anthony (The Wellingtons) and Tim Reid.
